Come along to our first meeting of 2025 on Thursday 20 February from 6PM at The Tetley. The meeting will last roughly an hour and will be a general hello and information about the festival will be given to both newcomers and returning programmers to Scalarama Leeds.
If you are brand new to Scalarama, don't worry! Everything will be explained in the meeting about how it all works and we are a very friendly bunch. You are not expected to bring anything or have any ideas for your possible future events at this point.
Please do come to show support and bring along any pals who have expressed an interest in running their own events.
The meeting will also have..Drumroll...
FUNdraising activities including a bake sale, a DVD/film book sale and a raffle full of great prizes.
Also bring along your spare pennies to help us raise money for Scalarama Leeds.
After all that fantasticness, we will be screening the excellent (and appropriate) newly restored El Cine Soy Yo (The Moving Picture Man). A gorgeous Venezuelan film about a roving projectionist. The film will start roughly around 7-7:30PM.

The meeting is free to attend but please reserve a space at the meeting.There is a suggested donation fee for the film screening of £5 via the EventBrite link. You can come along to just the meeting or just the film screening or both.
Please give a donation for the film screening as this is a fundraiser and all donations will go towards funding our DIY film festival to help with marketing materials and our new programmers scheme. Any donation small or big is greatly appreciated, thanks!
