Rothwell Temperance Band is Leeds’ highest ranked brass band. Entirely comprising of volunteers, it has cemented itself as one of the finest ensembles in the competitive county of Yorkshire. Formed in the 1980s, the current band has risen through the ranks under experienced Musical Director David Roberts, earning numerous prestigious accolades along the way. Rothwell Temperance Band has remained a championship section band for over 25 years, maintaining a consistent presence among the top 20 brass bands in the world.
