Following our successful performance 'Abundance, A Room in Leeds' at The Carriageworks Theatre in July, Skippko is presenting all the artworks created over this year long project at our venue 50 in Holbeck.
From a miniature fireplace to a giant teapot, photography to animation, this exhibition presents the work created by participants from Leeds communities, including AVSED (Supporting Aireborough Seniors), Belle Isle Senior Action, OPAL (Older people's action in the locality), The photography group, Aspire CBS (Community Benefit Society) and Armley Helping Hands.
You can also see over 50 decorated wooden houses created by individuals across Leeds, exploring objects with personal meaning.
'A Room in Leeds' is a Skippko project funded by Leeds Inspired and the National Lottery Community Fund and part of Skippko's 3 year lottery funded programme 'Home from Home'.
