Looking for a free October half term activity in Leeds? Join ourfree Boys Camp for ages 9–17 at the Mandela Centre from 1pm – 3pm Monday 26 October – Friday 20 October. Fun dance sessions, confidence building and performance opportunities.
What happens during the camp?
Throughout the week participants will:
Learn an exciting dance routine
Improve fitness, coordination and rhythm
Develop confidence and teamwork
Meet new friends
Work with experienced RJC Dance tutors
Take part in an end-of-week performance for family and friends
Who is the camp for? Our Boyz dance camp is suitable for:
Boys aged 9–17
Beginners and those with some dance experience
Young people living in Leeds and surrounding areas
Our dance camps help young people:
Build confidence
Improve physical wellbeing
Express themselves creatively
Develop teamwork and leadership skills
Progress into our year-round Youth Provision weekly classes
A £10 cash deposit will be required at the start of the camp week, which will be returned to you at the end of the week subject to 100% attendance.

Is the dance camp free?
Yes. Thanks to funding from the Inner North Community Committee (Leeds City Council), the Boyz Camp is completely free. A refundable £10 attendance deposit is required, which is refunded to you subject to 100% attendance.
Does my child need dance experience?
No. Everyone is welcome.
What should participants wear?
Comfortable clothing suitable for movement, plus a bottle of water. The camp will take place in bare feet, socks or trainers.
Does my child need to attend every day?
Yes. Participants should attend all five days so they can learn the choreography and take part in the final sharing.
