Please join us for the Fine Art Level 1 Project Space exhibition and open studios at the University of Leeds. For one night only!

Level 1 artists on the BA Fine Art, BA Fine Art with Contemporary Cultural Theory and BA Fine Art with History of Art courses will show new work and work in progress that has emerged through the studio research groups they formed this semester.

On the ground floor in Project Space, there will be a single work by each artist. Upstairs on the second floor, the Level 1 studios will be open.

These emerging artists have been developing work and working methods that are sensitive to the complexities of personal and shared experience, brought together by interests in:

memory and nostalgia;

the documentative and the momentary;

presence, duration, time and temporality;

the uncanny, fracture, connection and disconnection;

wonderment and the mundane.
