The Poetry Takeaway is the world's first mobile poetry pop-up! This is a unique opportunity to have something personally crafted and delivered to you by a professional poet.

Place your order at the table of your 'poet chef', do some browsing around town, and then return for a one-on-one performance of your personalised poem.

For over a decade, The Poetry Takeaway has been delighting audiences around the UK — from diamond dealers to the BRIT Awards, and from the National Football Museum to Glastonbury Festival.

Every poem is free of charge and written specifically for you — no templates or 'off the shelf' poems. You can place your order at:

Kirkgate Market Kitchen, Friday 20th February, 1pm-5pm

Moor Allerton Community Hub and Library, Saturday 21st February, 11am-3pm.

Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

A free family-friendly event suitable for all ages, regardless of whether you know or love poetry!

This is a Leeds Libraries event, to keep up to date with further events please follow us on social media @leedslibraries and sign up to Leeds Libraries Newsletter for Children and Families: bit.ly/FamilyLibraryNews
