A merry musical evening featuring three acts of contrasting styles, like a big slab of Neapolitan ice cream!

PENNY AND THE SAUSAGES

Bringing the hits to you, like some kind of crazy human jukebox!

Featuring members of various Leeds/Wakefield bands past and present (Dugong, Joe Ninety, Bonsai Kittens, Tiger Island & Holy Homes to name a handful), Penny and the Sausages power out perfect rock 'n' pop party tunes from the 80s interspersed with more modern classics. Prepare to hit the dance floor with a banger!

NITHERED

Nithered* are feminist folk metal from Leeds. With mighty riffs and dramatic vocals, their songs tell of historical nightmares from a woman’s perspective, featuring witches, furious queens and cunning outlaws. Singer/songwriter Rosey Hill’s solo performances have been described as ‘emotionally unflinching’. Now as a full band, Nithered draw on their multiple metal influences (Opeth, Myrkur, Ghost, plus Kate Bush) to give new power and beauty to those songs.

The band: is Rosey Hill on vocals (previously Fake Tan), with Tim Gomersall on guitar (Chinchilla Death Cult), Leon Waksberg on bass (All I Live For) and Oliver Gardiner on drums (Boy Jupiter).

*Nithered is a Norse Yorkshire dialect word meaning ‘to feel very cold’, something which Hill frequently feels. The band can’t wait to welcome you to their music. Bring a jumper**.

**jumper not mandatory

LILY ROSE MOHARRER

A purveyor of swirling melodies, Lily explores the deepest ‘whys’ that we yearn to know. With a voice that wraps you up - warm and cosy - as you drift off into wonderland, you’ll find yourself singing along to the lullaby twirls and turns of her creations.

Let yourself be soothed, sit back and relax, as Lily weaves tales of loss, joy, nature and adventure, family relations and friendship. Like sharing a cup of tea with a seasoned traveller of the stars, she will take you on a journey that's sprinkled with the joy of laughter and a smattering of tears.
