Join Ella (She/Her) from The Pink School for Parent + Baby Yoga.
This six-week course aims to give you back some time for you. Time to be present, to move, to breathe and to connect with your little one and other primary care-givers.
The sessions are intuitively led based on the needs of the group and the babies in the moment, however they will follow a similar structure:
Yoga (45 minutes)
Welcome Song + strokes (clothed baby massage)
Floor based movement + breathwork Flow
Closing Peaceful Energy Healing
Group guided check in + refreshments (30 mins)
We hope you leave feeling like you’ve taken some quality time for yourself, have met some lovely new people and can move a little bit easier in your body.
The course is for all genders and caregivers. We have left the age of the baby up to the discretion of parents, children with a younger developmental age are welcome. In terms of mobility, parents who use wheelchairs can join in either from their chair or the floor and there is plenty of space in the studio to move around the session.
There is plenty of space for prams in the studio for sleeping babies. Some toys will be provided. Extra mats will be set up to keep your babies close to you.

Founded by Ella, an experienced holistic therapist, energy healer, and yoga teacher, The Pink School prioritises accessibility and inclusivity in wellness. With a strong focus on creating low-stimulation, person-led, and nurturing experiences, Ella ensures that all sessions are designed to be welcoming and adaptable to individual needs. As a mother of two and someone with lived experience of parenting with a disability and mental health challenges, she is deeply passionate about making wellness practices accessible to families who may find traditional parent-and-child classes less accommodating.

Access
Accessibility: Physical Accessibility Building Access: step free access from street level.
Doors & Hallways: suitable for power chairs to enter.
Reception & Waiting Area: There is one small chair in the waiting area, however you will be able to access the studio space straight away.
Studio Space: There is ample room for movement, including space for wheelchairs to move around. Additional chairs can be provided.
Toilets & Changing Facilities: There are accessible toilets and gender neutral toilets.
Parking + Public Transport:
Walking here - If approaching Leeds Dock from Leeds city centre, you’ll come to the Royal Armouries. Stand with your back to the entrance of the Royal Armouries, and in front of you, you’ll have ‘The Boulevard’ – walk forwards with Pizza Express on your left. You’ll go past Pizza Express, North Star Coffee Shop, Condition gym, and next is Yoga Hero!
Parking - There is free parking for two hours all around the dock, and there’s a multi-storey car park signposted (CitiPark)
Water taxi - Leeds Dock provide a wonderful water taxi service, from Leeds train station at Granary Wharf, to Leeds Dock. It’s just £3 per person, per trip, and then just follow the walking directions above!
Sensory & Neurodivergent Accessibility Lighting & Noise Levels: The sessions will be quiet with minimal background music. The studio has very little outside noise. The lighting can be dimmed.
Clear Signage: There is clear signage and someone on reception to assist.
Class Environment: This is a low stimulation class.
Class Accessibility Instructor Training: Your teacher is trained to offer a trauma aware approach which includes consent before touch.
Props: Plenty of props are available and chairs upon request.
Variations: Plenty of variations are offered in a non-judgement environment. Seated yoga variations will be offered for people who need it.
