Olivia Joy Flowers is a Leeds-based paper flower artist known specializing in life-like creations that capture the intricate beauty of the natural world. With over a decade of experience as a self-taught creator, she transforms paper into realistic floral art, meticulously hand-cutting, shaping, and dyeing each petal and leaf to reflect the fine details and vibrant colours of real blooms.
Through her workshops, Olivia shares her passion for the meditative art of paper flower making. She guides participants in mastering essential techniques, from shaping petals with crepe paper's unique stretch to adding depth and dimension with custom-dyed colours. Her teaching style emphasizes patience, precision, and an appreciation for nature's complexity, offering a creative space where attendees can slow down, explore their artistry, and craft flowers that last a lifetime.
Participants will learn how to work with high-quality crepe paper, as well as mulberry paper, discovering the tools and methods that bring Olivia's stunning floral creations to life.
