The Nigerian Yorkshire Communities Network UK CIC are offering NYCN subscribers free swimming lessons for children who are beginners/non-swimmers as part of our summer sporting activities sponsored by the Leeds Community Foundation.
If you would like your children to learn to swim, please do register your family and search for any suitable swimming lessons in your local Leeds City Council pool across Leeds.
In the UK only 2% of black kids swim, we want to encourage more swimming for the black and BAME communities and this is why we are reintroducing this swimming initiative so please register your child/ren to take part at Tickets below.
This activity is part of summer sporting development initiatives for youth, young ones and adults within the community and environs, swimming is a good way to lose weight and get fit, swimming burns calories and
improves your heart health; but it can be especially beneficial for those with joint problems. Across our ethnic diverse community we have just set up a programme target to get our young ones to participate in this sport, helping towards living a healthy lifestyle.

Once your registration is submitted, NYCN will submit your child/ren's name and you will receive a voucher to book your child/ren's classes.
This opportunity is open to all, first come first served, we can only approve fully completed registration forms so please take care.
