We Are The World by Excessive Human Collective

“The cyborg would not recognise the garden of Eden, it is not made of mud and cannot dream of returning to dust.” Donna Harraway

With the cyborg as a metaphor for fragmented identities, We Are The World looks at the space between fiction and fact. What it means to be a creature of social reality as well as a creature of fantasy. From Artistic Director Imogen Reeve, We Are The World shares a utopian vision, investigating the partiality, irony, intimacy and perversity of human nature.

gut, gut, quiet by Inari Hulkkonen

Taking as its starting point the idea of gut, heart, and brain as the three brains of the body, gut, gut, quiet is a performance interested in the poetic and the visceral. Through anatomy and metaphor, the body is described as a holder of things; a chaos archive of history and feeling.

Voices by Zoe Katsilerou

Voices explores the traditions of Balkan polyphonic songs and contemporary dance-theatre. Co-created by Balkan vocalist, choreographer and theatre maker Zoe Katsilerou, poet-dancer Izzy Britain and four dancers/musicians, Voices addresses universal narratives of ecology, community and multiculturalism through celebrating songs that live in and come from the body.
