At The Swan Song Project we know how powerful music can be, and how one song can bring back 1000 memories.

Our Music and Memories sessions are a chance for you to share a special song and those precious memories with others. Simply request what song you would like, the group will listen to it together and you will have the opportunity to share your thoughts or memories associated with it. This may be a song that reminds you of a loved one, of a particular time in your life or is dedicated to someone you have lost.

As part of Dying Matters Week 2025 we are very happy to be hosting a Music and Memories session at Leeds Music Library. The session is free to attend and will run from 1-3pm.

If you would like a song dedicating or something sharing but are worried about feeling emotional at the time, you are welcome to write something in advance that our facilitator will be happy to read out for you.
