This 45 minute practical workshop will use story telling, dance and props to test and explore creative ideas with children aged 4-11 for a new dance theatre show called Mika and The Polar Bear that will be touring the North of England this year.
Workshop participants are invited to join two members of the Coalesce Dance Theatre team to explore how the weather impacts our main character Mika and their Polar Bear friend.
There will be play, movement, drawing, talking and a whole lot of weather. Research gathered from these creative workshops will be used by the company to inform and support the development of the show.
