Made with Music are hosting this accessible, family friendly Mini Gig, an afternoon of live music with real bands in a real gig venue. Made with Music prides itself on being inclusive and accessible and want more families to be able to attend live music events.
Here are some of the things they do to make their gigs accessible:
Changing places trailer at each event (an accessible toilet with changing bench, hoist and attendant)
Pre-information available including a photo guide
Access to the space before the event to check it out
Clear signage around the building
Strict timings which are available before the event
Level access, suitable for wheelchairs
Variety of seating available (benches, mats, chairs, beanbags)
Black out tent if you need to dampen all other senses but still want to listen to the music
Ear defenders available to borrow
Friendly staff around the room to answer any questions you have
We keep some tickets back for families who can’t decide until the day
Offer a "Pay if you stay" ticket on the door if you want to try the gig but for any reason you or your young person can’t stay for the whole thing.
If there is anything they can do to help you more specifically, please do get in touch on hello@madewithmusic.co.uk of find them on social media.
If the event is shown as sold out, get in touch with with them as they have a handful of tickets available on the door for families with additional access needs so please email if you would like, and cannot get, tickets.
