As we approach International Women's Day 2025, we stand at a pivotal moment to celebrate the strides made toward gender balance and equality and acknowledge the challenges that remain. IWD Day isn’t simply a marker on the calendar; it’s a powerful global call to action, a reminder of the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women throughout history and in our present world.

Nubian Noire will join the celebration with the theme - Lights, Capture “Reel" Women - focusing  on amplifying the visibility of women in the media and entertainment industry, celebrating the diverse stories and contributions made within these creative sectors.

Lights, Capture “Reel" Women signifies the spotlight  cast on women’s narrative, achievements, and challenges, emphasising the importance of authentic, realistic, and empowering content that represents the multifaceted lives of women, beyond the traditional roles often portrayed on our big screens.

So, come join us to celebrate women in journalism, music, and media. This in-person event will showcase the incredible stories, journeys, and challenges of female bosses in their creative industries, you will get the chance to engage in authentic, thought-provoking conversation with our wonderful panel of guest speakers who will be departing with insightful  industrial knowledge,  and lived experiences
