The waterfront in Leeds City Centre has a rich, interesting, and sometimes amusing history! This audio tour explores this in detail, with narration by local expert Mike. The tour begins outside Marshalls Mill in the old industrial heartland of Leeds, meanders along the river and canal side, and finishes by Leeds Minster. Take in stories of great architecture and people, as well as strange tales of ghostly happenings and witchcraft.
Stops include additional galleries to look at old maps and images of the area and there are some optional multiple-choice quiz questions throughout the tour needing you to explore stops more closely to find the answers. Register for the quiz leader board to see how you compare against other.
