Leeds has an important place in the history of Goth culture. It’s home to the site of the world’s first Goth club and the city where Goth identity formed.

As part of this year’s national Heritage Open Days festival, you are invited to take the Leeds Goth QR Code Challenge and explore Leeds’ heritage as the birthplace of Goth.

The challenge is entirely free and open to everyone. You’ll be guided to sites of key significance, with QR codes available to scan at each site providing important Goth facts and information about the location.

Enabled by generous support from Leeds Civic Trust, the challenge will run throughout the Heritage Open Days festival from 6 to 15 September.

Click here to sign up for the challenge.
