We’re running free creative sessions in Leeds for women of Irish heritage to explore their identity, culture, memory and migration as part of the St Brigid’s Arms project. This is open to any and all Irish heritage women (whether you were born in Ireland or if you were born elsewhere but have Irish heritage, for example if a parent or grandparent is Irish). All levels of experience are welcome – no experience is necessary. You can book onto these sessions via our Eventbrite (St Brigid’s Arms Projects).
During 5 sessions (either daytime or evening) you will be guided by the facilitator on creatively expressing your identity in a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can connect with other women of Irish heritage. Please only sign up if you can make 4-5 of the sessions as you will be building on your work from previous weeks.
All materials will be provided, as well as refreshments. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on emeraldlensinfo@gmail.com
You can either book onto the daytime sessions or the evening sessions.
