About The Leeds Conservatoire Piano Competition

The Leeds Conservatoire Piano Competition is sponsored by Besbrode Pianos in Leeds. For the last eleven years, Besbrode Pianos has been a pivotal force in promoting Leeds' upcoming piano talent to a wider audience. From intimate performances at their Steinway showroom to prizewinning solo piano performances at Seven Arts large, tiered-seating theatre, these artists are presented with formative experiences supporting their future careers at concert pianists.

About the Venue

Besbrode Pianos Steinway Showroom is situated in a Georgian Mill on the edge of Leeds city centre. The showroom is more than a retail space. This stunning red brick showroom has been an intimate venue over the last 20 years for a myriad of stand out performances including Alistair McGowan, The Leeds International Piano Competition Competitors, Mik Artistik, Li Can, The Lang Lang Scholars,Lol Coxhill and more.

Free Parking: Free parking is available outside the showroom. Turn onto Braithwaite Street and take an immediate left into the yard. Look for signage.

Accessibility: The event takes place on the first floor. Please note there is only stair access into the event.
