Leeds African and Caribbean Food Fest is BACK!

Be prepared to tantalize your taste buds and experience a culinary and colourful explosion of African, and Caribbean Food and drinks.

This year's annual food fest not only coincides with Leeds West Indian Carnival it promises to be bigger, bringing together over 25+ food, drinks and craft stalls under one roof to celebrate the culinary skills, and flavours, of Africa and the Caribbean, brought to you, by our very own esteemed chefs.

Leeds, African and Caribbean Food Fest, now in its fourth year, will celebrate the rich and diverse culinary traditions and skills of the African continent and Caribbean Islands.

We aim to bring together food lovers, chefs, and cultural enthusiasts from across the city and beyond.

Shoppers will browse an array of traditional African and Caribbean dishes each with its unique blend of spices and flavours, such as spicy jerk chicken to savoury jollof rice, curry mutton with rice, ackee and fried dumplings you name it.

The food fest will offer a wide variety of dishes that will take your taste buds on a tropical journey like no other.

It doesn't stop there… don't forget to save room for dessert with sweet Jamaican treats like coconut tarts and rum cake.

To wash everything down? Yes! You guessed it! Our personalised pop-cocktail bar will be back with us, serving up a mixture of red, yellow, and green, mean lean tropical cocktails...

But it’s not just about food – this Festival is a celebration of culture, diversity and community coming together to share their heritage, featuring music and performances from local artists.

So why not bring along the family and friends - after all it is a family-friendly event - and children can enjoy face painting and carnival mask making.

One of the main goals of the Food Fest is to support and promote local businesses so you'll be supporting the local economy and helping these businesses thrive and survive.

Mark your calendars for Leeds' biggest African and Caribbean Food Fest 2024 – you wouldn't want to miss this culinary journey!
