The world premiere of a documentary about a groundbreaking project inviting people to think about access and inclusion in the arts.

Access Cloaks - a film by Alfie Fox and Michael Godsall, funded by Arts Council England and supported by Pyramid.

Alfie Fox is a Yorkshire based established, award-winning multimedia artist. He was born with Cerebral Palsy and CVI (Cerebral Visual Impairment).

During a two year project called Access Cloaks, Alfie made four large scale, print based pieces of public art. He made these Access Cloaks with children and adults with disabilities across Leeds and displayed them at well known cultural venues city-wide (Hyde Park Picture House being one of them).

The film follows Alfie and his team of support artists from Pyramid, over the course of the project, documenting the barriers for artists with disabilities and highlighting why art is an important tool for communication and connection in our everyday lives.

This ground breaking project invites people to think about access and inclusion in the arts.

Alfie is supported through Pyramid's Development Team model of working one-to-one with professional artists, to develop their own creative practice.

Pyramid invests in people with a learning disability, autism, or both, through the discovery, development and disruption of the arts.
