Join Leeds Libraries and West Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra as we blow the dust off a selection of music played at the 300th anniversary concert, coupled with pieces by composers more recently connected to our fair city.
Expect to hear the overture to 'The Golden Wedding’ specially written by Frank Kidson and Arthur Grimshaw for the 300th anniversary concert, music from Cinema Paradiso arranged by Angela Morley, and much more besides.
Come join us in celebration and take a moment to wonder at the generations of Leodiencians who have contributed to the rich and varied musical life of Leeds.
