Join jewellery maker Amanda Burton for a relaxed summer workshop exploring contemporary jewellery techniques using brass and copper sheet metal.
In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to texture, stamp, shape and assemble metal to create your own unique pair of earrings. An ideal gift or something just for you.
Working with simple hand tools and traditional jewellery-making techniques, you'll discover how surface pattern, form and finish can transform sheet metal into striking contemporary jewellery.
Amanda will guide you through each stage of the process, from creating decorative textures and shapes to assembling finished pieces. Optional gemstone bead details can be added to personalise your designs and create a unique finished result.
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with experience who would like to develop new jewellery-making and metalworking skills. With plenty of time for experimentation, participants are encouraged to explore different textures, patterns and design ideas while receiving individual guidance throughout the session.
