Join us for An Introduction to Lino Printing at The Middle Floor!
Available to book individually or book a Course Pass ahead of each half-term. See Tickets below.
Lino printing, also known as linocut or lino cutting, is a traditional printmaking technique that involves cutting a design into a block of linoleum and then transferring the design to paper or fabric. During this course, we will design, carve, and print unique pieces of art inspired by relationships to identity, cultural heritage and celebration! This course is about more than learning a skill; it’s a space to explore identity, connect with others, and celebrate through your creativity!
This event is for BIPOC, created to centre relationships to identity, heritage and celebration of this. Together you will create art that is an expression of resistance and encourage connection and storytelling through patterns. This class is taught by Saba Siddiqui as part of The Middle Floor's THRIVE programme.
