Join Northlight studio artist Lydia Rain for a relaxing and immersive morning creating stunning mixed media paintings.

Lydia will show you how to elevate your artwork using the simple and versatile technique of image transfer to add images to your paintings.

Image transfer differs from collage because the paper is removed leaving the image as a thin layer of pigment. This can create beautiful translucent effects ideal for layering, without the hard edges found in collage.

You will explore different mediums for the transfer process, such as acrylic gel, and images from inkjet prints, laser prints and magazines.
