Are you aged 11 to 18 and interested in learning the basics of recording techniques? Join us for this interactive workshop, which takes place at Leeds Central Library, delivered in collaboration with Cloth Cat.
The session will be led by musician Jack Winn, who will cover skills and techniques including:
-Basic microphone placement for recording acoustic instruments.
-Setting up recording sessions within a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation).
-How to set levels, panning of instruments and basic equalising techniques.
-Using effects on a recording such as reverb, delay and saturation.
