As part of the Leeds Festival of Play, Circus Leeds will be in the city centre on Saturday 2nd November delivering an unmissable circus experience.
For children and grown ups, come alone or bring a group of friends. This activity is suitable for all, with expert staff to teach circus skills, place to practise and train your skills, games and challenges to try, and other fun things.
We’ll be bringing: plate spinning, flower-stick, diabolo and poi. As well as a full collection of juggling equipment: clubs, balls, hats, rings, specialised accessibility-juggling-equipment for brains and bodies of all kinds, so if you know someone who wants to access juggling but thinks it isn't for them …this is your chance! Our circus kit includes activities for those with PMLD, neurodiversity or sensory disability
We’ll also bring our collections of Silly-Cycles, a range of wacky bikes and wheels to play on and try, unicycles, penny farthings and clown bikes galore!
Don't forget we’ll have balancing toys, stilts, wobble boards and you might even be lucky to catch an appearance of The Worlds BIGGEST HULA HOOP! Come and see if you can master the giant hoop!
Matthew Tiffany, an award winning teacher and juggler extraordinaire, will be there to advise on juggling technique and skill. Setter of world records, traveling the globe performing his unique and rare juggling tricks, he's not to be missed as he joins the fun back in his old home town of Leeds!
Rosie Kelly, a highly specialised circus teacher and trauma response clown will be on hand to add her famous and wickedly awesome twist of circus and silliness to the day. Her decades of experience teaching circus mean its accessible for all with her fast and fun approach.
