Found Film Club Festive Special in the Gallery
Film
Visual Arts

Discover the lives of strangers through lost Christmas & Winter themed footage - all played on reel to reel projectors against a live score.

This session of Found Film Club, presented by Delilah, Jacob & and their visiting musician, is part of a programme of events running in the Gallery at Sunny Bank Mills during our Autumn/Winter exhibition, Soft Light.

Soft Light showcases paintings, photography and installations that masterfully capture sunlight, moonlight and artificial light alongside contemporary craft from UK-based artists and makers.

About the session

Discover the lives of strangers through lost footage, projected on film. Accompanied by live music!

8mm and Super 8 films will be screened. These have been collected throughout Yorkshire and the wider region from car boot sales, Facebook Marketplace and eBay.

Have a glimpse into the lives of ordinary people in the 60s, 70s & 80s, told through their own lens during Winter and festive celebrations.
