Curious about learning German or finding out more about German-speaking cultures? Join us for an engaging taster session designed for complete beginners. This interactive session will introduce you to the German language and offer insights into life and culture in German-speaking countries. Through a range of accessible activities, you will explore the language, discover interesting cultural perspectives and gain a flavour of what it is like to learn German. As the festive season approaches, you will also learn some useful language for ordering traditional treats and drinks at a German Christmas market. Delivered by Sandra Strigel and Marina Micke from The University of Law's Modern Languages Team, this session offers a friendly and enjoyable introduction to German, whether you are considering learning the language in the future or are simply curious to find out more.
