Workshop

Join artist, maker and zine writer Bunty Marshall to create sculptures inspired by folklore traditions.

Explore Henry Moore Institute's current exhibition Phantasmagoria: Folkloric Sculpture for the Digital Age, taking in the strange characters and immersive digital artworks, then head upstairs to get more inspiration from folklore traditions and get making.

First, we’ll use recycled electric cables to weave corn dolly inspired charms, then we’ll create weird and magical characters inspired by British folklore traditions using a range of sculpture materials.

This workshop is designed for families with children aged 6+. Creativity has no age limit, so adults are encouraged to make too!

Tickets for this workshop are free, but please book in advance as places are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
