Jaivant is the artistic director of the multi award-winning Jaivant Patel Company based in Wolverhampton. The company creates contemporary performances influenced by the myriad of South Asian Dance forms. A trailblazer in both the UK and international dance scene, Jaivant is one of the leading voices amplifying LGBTQ+ South Asian narratives and exploring the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, faith, and spirituality.

At Yorkshire Dance, we’re committed to making our work affordable for everyone so all our events are Pay What You Can. When booking you can either click on the full price of £8.00 or you can enter your own amount. If you cannot afford to pay anything you are very welcome to attend simply enter £0 as you checkout.
