Formed in 1910 in County Durham as the Craghead Colliery Band, and until recently named Reg Vardy Band, the EverReady Band looks forward to a new chapter in its history. In addition to contest successes, the band has recently welcomed some new talented musicians to its ranks including experienced principal cornet player Tina Mortimer and Kate Garnett on second trombone. Under the baton of Resident Conductor Chris Shanks, EverReady Band is renowned for its high-quality entertaining performances.
