After Charlie beats hundreds of applicants for a chance to work alongside famous arctic artist Otto Boberg, he and his girlfriend Sophie travel north of the arctic circle to live on the remote Norwegian island of Skogeuken for ten months. Before long, Sophie becomes enmeshed with Norwegian tales and legends and begins to develop an obsession with the nation’s favourite pastime, knitting. As the midnight sun gives way to the polar night, elements of Charlie’s and Sophie’s lives begin to unravel. And then, in the depths of the bitter cold and dark of winter, events take a more sinister turn.

With 15 original songs, live acoustic band, arctic art, handmade knitwear and on stage knitting, this new musical will delight fans of original feel-good musical theatre. The audience might even catch a glimpse of Skogeuken’s troll, who resides in the depths of the woods.
