The Experience

You will watch a demonstration of how to create and decorate different types of platters and dishes, using soft slabs of clay. Then you will have two hours to create your own work. Even if you have never tried this before, we are sure you’ll leave with work to be proud of. You will be offered as much or as little help as you want.

Event Details

· Duration: 2 Hours

· Theme: platers and dishes ceramic/pottery

· What to bring: enthusiasm! And an apron. If you have long hair you might want to tie it back.

· Takeaway: You’ll create your own unique pieces of pottery. You will be given approximately 2kg of clay, so you can make one big piece or a variety of smaller pieces. Due to the long drying process and the need for two firings, your work will be ready to collect 6 to 8 weeks after the session. You will be contacted when your work is ready to collect. Your work is food safe.
