David Preston was a finalist at the 2009 Montreux International Guitar competition and is composer and co-leader for the critically acclaimed UK modern-jazz trio ‘Preston Glasgow Lowe’ . He has been active as a sideman to a variety of cross-generational musicians such as Lianne La Havas, Empirical, Asaf Sirkis, Peter Ind, Emma Rawicz, Melody Gardot, Goldie & the Heritage Orchestra, and Ingrid Jensen.
Seb Rochford is founder of Polar Bear, two of whose albums were nominated for the Mercury Prize. He has also played with Acoustic Ladyland, Ingrid Laubrock Quintet, Sons of Kemet, Corrine Bailey Rae and Herbie Hancock. Seb has worked extensively with Joanna MacGregor and Andy Sheppard, toured with Patti Smith and recorded with David Byrne and Brian Eno and played on Adele’s album ‘19’.
Elliot Galvin is one of the rising stars of UK jazz, he is a key member of Dinosaur, led by Laura Jurd. A superbly gifted composer and pianist, his maverick imagination and magpie-like ability to blend a disparate world of influences has seen him compared to Django Bates. In 2014 was announced winner of the European Young Jazz Artist of the Year Award.
