Celebrating International Women’s Day, Darius’ programme features five women composers alongside JS Bach and Marcel Dupré. Jeanne Demessieux’s famous Te Deum makes an arresting start to the recital, while Dupré’s Suite Bretonne gives a calm few moments in the centre of the programme. The concert concludes with a return to energetic pieces by Kristina Arakelyan and Rachel Laurin.
