This online workshop explores how Plain Language and Easy Language can make public administration communication more accessible, transparent, and inclusive for people with diverse characteristics, from the lay citizen not necessarily knowing technical jargon to citizens with reading difficulties. These include, among others, people with intellectual disabilities, dyslexia, low literacy skills, little command of the English language and so forth. Participants will learn the key principles of Easy and Plain Languages, where to find guidelines and best practices, the practical strategies attached to these, and real-world examples that facilitate comprehension of Public Administration content.
