Curious about trying a new instrument or want to develop your skills further? Join Cloth Cat at Leeds Central Library for our Summer Music Camp running Monday-Friday, 10:30-12:30, 3rd-7th August!
Each day offers a different two-hour workshop led by our friendly tutors, giving you the chance to get creative, experiment, and build new skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!
What’s Happening Each Day:
Mon 3rd Aug, 10:30-12:30 - Percussion: Explore rhythm, groove, and learn how to lock in with each other.
Tues 4th Aug, 10:30-12:30 - DJing: Get hands-on with DJ decks and learn how to mix tracks, beat match, and use FX.
Weds 5th Aug, 10:30-12:30 - Ukulele: Learn chords, strumming patterns, and fun songs that you can play from day one.
Thurs 6th Aug, 10:30-12:30 - Songwriting: Learn to write lyrics, build melodies, and shape your own original piece.
Fri 7th Aug, 10:30-12:30 - Recording: Step into Leeds Libraries' brand new recording booths to capture your creations! Experiment with equipment and software, and learn how music is produced.
Spaces are limited, so early sign-ups are encouraged to make sure no one misses out on their favourite workshop of the week!
