CAAF Children's Section

We’ve got a host of activities to keep the children happy this year at the Chapel Allerton Arts Festival on Saturday 5th September including:

A celebration of Leeds’ 400th anniversary - dig for potatoes, weave willow hurdles, dress up in traditional costumes and learn about the history of Leeds

Join the parade at 3.30, led by Briggate Morris - and you can even learn a few Morris dancing steps beforehand!

There will be lots of fun on the Well Lane stage with the return of Circus Leeds, cheerleading demonstrations from AKDA Dance Academy and dance performances from Speedwell Dance at 1.30PM and 4.15 PM

Much more, including face painting, family play activities, the Leeds North and West Foodbank smoothie pedal bike, music lessons - there will be something for the whole family!

Activities from 11AM - 3PM.
