Join us for a four-session course exploring bookbinding methods, with opportunity to print your own book covers and end pages using monoprinting techniques.
Explore a range of bookbinding techniques using simple glueing and stitching methods, such as pamphlet stitch books, Japanese stab binding and concertina books. The first session will cover monoprinting techniques to create your own prints onto pages which will be used throughout the course as colourful end pages and soft book covers.

Leeds Print Workshop currently offers half price concession tickets for those on certain income-based state benefits, which are subsidised by funding from Leeds City Council. To be eligible you must be in receipt of state benefits and be able to provide evidence. See our price concession webpage for further information
Access
Our aim is to bring printmaking to as many people as possible. By their nature, some printmaking processes involve an amount of physical effort. Leeds Print Workshop is based in a basement studio at Patrick Studios, a bespoke venue for artists operated by East Street Arts. It is wheelchair accessible, with a lift, larger than standard doors and accessible toilet facilities. We recognise that everybody’s accessibility needs may differ, therefore please email us at hello@leedsprintworkshop.org to discuss any concerns you may have before booking. There is one blue badge car parking space to the side of the building on Rider Street, subject to availability.
