Drop in to your local library during October half term to play some brilliant board games that will help you practice your reading!
Find out how games can promote comprehension and vocabulary, and play some of our favourites, with researchers from the University of Leeds on hand to teach the games – and provide hints and tips for getting the most out of them!
Part of the Leeds Festival of Play and Creativity. Taking place at various venues across the city, 11am-2pm:
Mon 28th Oct – Garforth Community Hub and Library
Tues 29th Oct – Leeds Central Library
Weds 30th Oct – Crossgates Library (in Crossgates Shopping Centre)
Thurs 31st Oct – Otley Community Hub and Library
Free family-friendly event for children aged 8 to 13 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking not essential - just drop-in.
