Get ready for a cultural explosion! Black Music Festival is Europe’s biggest free open-air reggae concert will bring together local, national and international artists from a range of genres, with arts, crafts and funfair rides to keep you busy all day long.
Don’t miss out on incredible performances from the legendary Luciano bringing his fire and energy to Leeds, the award-winning queen of grime, Nadia Rose, the soulful songstress, Kelly Le Roc, reggae royalty Teddy Dan and rising star Wohdee and MORE surprise guests.
The annual Leeds Reggae concert started back in 1985, to compliment the annual Leeds West Indian Carnival (which had already been running since the 1960s).
In 2015, after 30 years of showcasing the best international Reggae performances, (whilst later on incorporating other genres such as R&B & Hip Hop etc), the concert has now evolved into Black Music Festival.
