his practical and supportive workshop explores how movement, positioning and biomechanics can support the body throughout labour and birth.
You’ll learn how the pelvis moves during different stages of labour and explore positions that may help create space, encourage comfort and support your baby’s journey through the pelvis. Through guided movement and practical techniques, you’ll discover ways to work with the body rather than against it.
Birth partners will also learn supportive positions, comfort measures and hands-on techniques they can use during labour, helping them feel more confident and involved in the birth experience.
This workshop is suitable for pregnant people and their birth partners at any stage of pregnancy, although it may be particularly helpful during the second and third trimesters. No previous yoga experience is needed, and all movements will be adapted to suit individual needs.
