The thrilling sequel to A Play of Sorts, Barber B: Each One, Teach One, intertwines storytelling, dance, and archival material to bring Barber B's incredible journey to life.
Follow B as he cuts hair in gay clubs, finds incarceration and illumination in Faliraki, and begins his relentless pursuit of athletic excellence through the Barber B Bootcamp.
With support from friends and family, including Paul Moore and the original Gappy Ranks, Seki Lynch vividly narrates the saga of a true Leeds icon. Don't miss this captivating tribute to resilience, community, and the transformative power of a dream.
The second half will include a Q&A; a short film and an abstract documentary of A Play of Sorts that interweaves moments in the play with prevailing themes of Barber B’s life. The original Gappy Ranks will perform his bespoke piece Trim Trim written for Barber B. With a guest appearance by young people from Music House’s Jam Around the Table.
